Come out to Sand Rock (Cherokee Rock Village) and learn the basics of trad climbing! This clinic will be taught by Silvia Tenenbaum from Get Climbing Outside (https://getclimbingoutside.com/). Silvia is an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor and Wilderness First Responder with over 30 years of climbing experience.

Placement of active/passive traditional gear
Assessing gear placements with the acronym ROCKS
Creation of a gear anchor
